Well everyone sure has been pretty excited seeing Adrianne Palicki as the new Wonder Woman - but really, as far as Elepharts is concerned, that costume reveal is nothing compared to the wonderful Ellen Page ("Inception", "Juno"), seen here as Boltie. Boltie is the eager and obsessive sidekick to “superhero” Rainn Wilson ("The Office"), in James Gunn’s darkly subversive and violent comedy "Super" which will be released April 1, 2011. In addition to Wilson and Page the flick also stars Liv Tyler, Kevin Bacon and Nathan Fillion. So what's it all about? According to the production company IFC films:
“When sad-sack loser Frank (Wilson) sees his ex-addict wife (Tyler) willingly snatched by a seductive drug dealer (Bacon), he finds himself bereft and wholly unable to cope. But soon he decides to fight back under the guise of a DIY superhero called Crimson Bolt. With a hand-made suit, a wrench and a crazed sidekick named Boltie (Page), the Crimson Bolt beats his way through the mean streets of crime in hopes of saving his wife.”
